Ministry Of Memories

Frequently Asked Questions

a few questions we get asked most often...

What services do you provide?

The Ministry, is a collective of talented and experienced photographers & cinematographers. We make memories live forever in form of photographs and films. We have been extremely fortunate, in the sense that we have ended up being friends with almost all of our brides/grooms... And as a friend its not just photography or cinematography we get called/consulted for... you can call us for anything and everything! (We have helped clients choose their wedding dress over Skype :P / We get consulted before fixing the wedding planner/venue... / We in the past have suggested Make-Up artists and even Mehndi-Wallas !!! and we love doing that).

However following are the things we can professionally help you with - Wedding Documentation, Engagement Sessions, Pre-Wedding Portraits, Save-The-Date Photos/Videos, Wedding Films & Wedding Albums.

Where are you based? Do you travel?

The Ministry Of Memories’ is based out of Surat (Gujarat), a 4 hour drive from Mumbai.

We love to travel! In fact wedding assignments frequently take us all around our beautiful country. We, at Ministry of Memories have documented weddings at all the major wedding destinations in India.

How do we book you for our wedding?

Reach us via mail/call/contact form on this website; We will send across my inquiry form, please fill the same to the best of your knowledge. We will then respond by email or phone. If possible, we would like to meet you both in person so that you can get to know us and can ask us everything you need (We can Skype too!). After we fully understand your requirements we would send across our wedding package. Once you’ve decided to choose us to document your Wedding, we will send a contract for you to sign and return with a deposit. After that, you can check “find a photographer” off your wedding to-do list :)

If you have decided on a Wedding Photographer it is advised to book him/her as early as possible so that your dates are blocked and travel arrangements are also made in time. Usually, we get booked 4 to 6 months in advance.

How many images do you give?

Do you give RAW images?

You need not worry about this at all. We document the complete event and cover all the important aspects of the same. We give out all the good high-resolution JPEGs, post processed with a lot of care after removing duplicates.

We DO NOT give RAWs. All the images you receive from us will be post processed.

At Ministry we have collective of talented photographers and cinematographers led by Puja & Rahul Kedia. Any wedding documentation we do, the team is led by either of them. They not only direct the team but themselves are lead photographers themselves.

Any project taken up at the Ministry is supervised by both of them.

Who will be shooting my wedding? I hear you work as a Husband-Wife team?

Please get in touch with us for this. We need to know the detailed timeline and scope of documentation for us to give you a personalized package for your event.

How much will it cost?

“The best way to preserve a memory is to bind it in a book.”

So we’ve made it a point to provide all our brides and grooms, a Wedding Day Storybook documenting their story on their special day. We custom design all our books and our approach to 'wedding albums' is more like a premium coffee table which can be passed on from one generation to another as a family heirloom!

Do you give out printed albums as well?

Yes again! We’ve a well-developed password protected gallery on the website which easily helps you to share the pictures with your friends and families. It really becomes annoying when you have to share the pictures in physical device which you/they might lose. So we give you an access to your memories online which you can easily send overseas to your long distant family members or friends.

Do you provide an online gallery?

please don't hesitate to contact us at if you have any other questions that are not answered here. We hope to hear from you soon!
